The class will last 1h30m We will review alignment of the asanas as well as names in Sanskrit. This class is designed to improve  basics of the asana practice and flow from pose to pose without disruptions  and is a preparation for intermediate-advanced  practice of YOGA.     No experience necessary, join us for beginner ballet classes for adults! This class is great for those who find joy in movement and dance, individuals wishing to learn ballet foundations or those wanting to reconnect with their inner ballerina. All levels welcome. This is a 90 min class. Ballet shoes are not required. Dress comfortably. We can add Dancing without mirrors: Having a ballet class without mirrors encourages dancers to develop a deeper internal awareness of their bodies and movements, rather than relying on visual feedback. This can help improve proprioception, musicality, and the ability to feel alignment and posture from within. It also fosters greater focus on the teacher’s corrections and a stronger connection to the expressive and emotional aspects of dance, rather than just the visual.

This session presents a valuable opportunity for intentional self-exploration under the guidance of Carlos Vasquez. The class is designed to be both challenging and enlightening, providing practitioners with ample time to delve deeply into each asana, engage in pranayama, and uncover the philosophical principles underpinning the practice.

With a focus on alignment and ujjayi breathe, this practice is designed to cleanse the mind, body and spirit while toning and correcting posture. In this class, students will find variations to poses , making the accessible to those new to the practice. This class uses minimal props and may have hands on adjustments.
