A Community Artwork Created One Ribbon at a Time

Every person adds a unique thread to the fabric of a neighborhood. In this collaborative weaving experience, children will contribute ribbons, fabric strips, colors, and personal touches to a large community loom while also creating a miniature loom to take home. As we weave together, we'll explore themes of connection, belonging, and community. The finished collaborative artwork will be displayed at a local senior housing center, creating a meaningful bridge between generations and sharing the creativity of Brooklyn's young artists with older community members.
