About the event
Family Sketchbook ✏️
A creative gathering for parents, caregivers, and children centered around drawing, observation, play, and the beauty of everyday family life.
Inspired by traditional life drawing sessions, we’ll move through a series of short and longer sketch prompts while children play, create, snack, wander, and simply be themselves nearby. Unlike traditional figure drawing, our subjects won’t stay still — and that’s part of the magic.
Participants are invited to bring printed family photos to sketch from, collage into their pages, or use as inspiration throughout the session.
Each adult participant will receive a sketchbook to begin building a personal visual archive of parenthood and childhood through drawings, notes, color, and imperfect moments captured in real time.
No drawing experience needed — this is about presence, not perfection.
